With a background in events, marketing and real estate, Saige brings a new perspective and a vibrant voice to the Laney LA studio. It would take an average Humble client 18 years to save enough money to furnish a home in the way we do in just a few hours. Since 2009, our staff and volunteers have turned moving in into moving forward. Since arriving in San Diego in 2018, Humble Design has helped more than 300 clients to change their lives for good. Trained at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania with a masters in urban planning, Cezar provides support to each project from documentation through construction.

Furniture and decor provided by CB2 turning this house into a home. The non-profit works closely with caseworkers from organizations such as Heartland Alliance, Catholic Charities, the Inspiration Corporation, and others who refer their clients to them. Volunteer with us in our warehouse and help us stay organized. We couldn’t do what we do without generous financial support from our community.
When I started this I knew nothing about the area or nonprofits. Every meeting I took with community leaders or knowledgeable individuals ended with me making one more friend. I love the way the communities take responsibility for the other’s well-being. A variety of companies have teamed up with Humble Design, with CB2 serving as their city sponsor with funds and goods. Aldi also provides goods; Casper donates linens, pillows, and mattresses; Article supplies furniture; and blankets are provided by Betsy’s Blankets, along with sheets and comforters. RIT DYE partners with the nonprofit to transform white Casper duvet covers into something more vibrant and cheerful.
How do you find balance while running Humble? Balance is an elusive mirage on the horizon. We are all chasing it and will never stop if we love our families and our jobs. Chasing it is the important thing though — never give up drawing a line in the sand. I find balance in leaning on my husband Rob for help.
In 2009, Treger met a recently homeless family. After the family found a house they could afford, they had nothing left over in the budget to furnish it. At Humble Design, our hearts help us do the heavy lifting by offering hope with our hands, providing a makeover for a fresh start, designing a life changing space.We turn moving in — into moving forward.

Originally from British Columbia, the United States is the fourth country that Madison has called home. As Laney LA’s Business Coordinator, Madison plays a key role in business development and administrative management, all while positively influencing the firm’s culture.
Graduated with a masters in architecture, Logan began his career in Greenpoint, New York before relocating to Los Angeles. With a background in hospitality and 3D modeling, he strives to express subtle, concise, and timeless designs that communicate a comprehensive narrative. Logan’s strong intuition and disciplined, active listening skills enable him to build strong client relations and deliver clean, precise work. Beyond Kameron’s commitment to growth, he embraces challenges and opposing viewpoints, as they allow him to constantly refresh his beliefs and outlooks.
There has been so many moments I’m grateful for, it’s hard to pick one. One highlight had to be sitting down with Maria Shriver. I brought my mom who clutched her chest with tears in her eyes the entire time. She is such an icon and a brilliant philanthropist. Another highlight would be our video of an emotional 8-year-old named boy Daerye from Detroit that went viral gathering more than 50 million views.
We also hire security guards during the “Deco Day” to ensure our volunteers and staff are safe. With an educational background in chemistry and architecture, Jacob’s unique skillset weaves elegant design out of complex parameters. His approach involves intensive research, pinpointing interactive opportunities between objects in order to craft a purposeful, elevated homes.
